DANCER/INSTRUCTOR/CHOREOGRAPHER
Leon Rose is one of the most inspiring innovators on the international salsa scene. Based in Paris, he leads the School of Salsa and co-organizes the renowned salsa and bachata party, AGUA. Known for his unique style and boundless energy, Leon fosters a deep passion for the art of salsa.
Born and raised in London with Caribbean roots, Leon grew up immersed in music. His training at the prestigious Anna Scher Theatre School led to numerous stage appearances, shaping his dynamic stage presence. Today, as a choreographer and instructor, Leon teaches worldwide—from Australia to Morocco to Puerto Rico—guiding beginners and inspiring seasoned dancers alike.
Watching Leon in action is to witness a living embodiment of his motto: Salsa is life!
COMEDY
Performs in comedy clubs in London and english speaking nights in Paris. When on international Salsa duties, Leon likes seeking out stage time and has performed as far a field as Vancouver and Hong Kong.
Not only limited to the stage, Leon has jumped head first into social media showcasing his writing, filming and editing skills. One example is The World of ROSE online stand up comedy and sketch show.
